Welcome to ChessLens. I'm a solo developer and a lifelong chess enthusiast. I built ChessLens because I was frustrated with the existing chess tools online.
Most modern chess platforms lock their best analysis features behind expensive premium subscriptions. As a player trying to improve, I found myself manually copying games into clunky, outdated software just to see where I went wrong.
I wanted a clean, fast, and modern interface that runs right in the browser without requiring a massive download or a monthly fee. That's how ChessLens was born.
Chess is a game of continuous learning. We believe that the tools to improve should be accessible to everyone, from beginners learning how pieces move to tournament players analyzing complex middlegames.
ChessLens is built with modern web technologies (Next.js, Firebase, and WebAssembly). It is completely free to use while we are in our early feedback phase. We are constantly updating the platform and adding new features.
